Cookies Cracker is a browser extension that automatically rejects cookie banners and blocks and deletes tracking cookies. It is designed to protect your privacy.

Data collection

Cookies Cracker does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. It does not have its own server and does not communicate with any external service during normal operation.

Data stored locally

All data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) and never leaves your device:

• List of websites where you have paused the extension.
• List of cookies you have manually blocked.
• Counters (banners rejected, banners dismissed, cookies cracked).
• Your language and theme preferences.

Report feature

The extension includes an optional report form. When you choose to send a report, only the information you explicitly select is transmitted (website URL, feedback text, or both). Reports are sent via Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service, to the developer's email. No personal data is attached to reports — they are anonymous.

Permissions

The extension requires broad permissions (access to all websites, cookies, browsing data) because cookie banners and tracking cookies can appear on any website. These permissions are used exclusively for detecting and dismissing cookie banners, classifying and removing tracking cookies, and displaying cookie information in the popup. A detailed explanation of each permission is available in the extension's About page.

Third-party services

• Web3Forms (web3forms.com): used only when you voluntarily submit a report. No data is sent otherwise.
